About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Benoe Eye & Oculoplastic Surgeons. You'll assist with patient care, manage daily operations, and help create an exceptional experience for every patient. We seek candidates with attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to excel in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Note: 1 year of previous experience in an ophthalmology, optometry, or optical setting is required to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory
  • Assist with diagnostic testing and provide patient education
  • Support with pre-surgical and surgical assist tasks
  • Perform preliminary tests and gather patient history
  • Provide excellent front desk support, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and addressing patient inquiries
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment to enhance patient experience
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in an optometric or optical setting is required
  • Understanding of medical terminology related to optometry and eye care
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality care
  • Proficiency in front desk operations within a medical office setting
